What is Scuderia Motom?

The Mille Miglia on a Motorcycle

The Motom Club Racing Team is welcoming new official riders.

Among them were Davide Prata, president of the Zurich Motom Club, and members of the Swiss club’s board of directors.

From May 31 to June 6, 2026, they will be at the starting line of the 1000 Miglia in Moto with six Motom 48s, the only 48cc bikes entered in the event.

A significant addition to the Scuderia Motom Club and an even stronger bond with the Motom Club Zurich.

On the Motom Club website, we will feature articles and in-depth coverage of the riders, the motorcycles, and the Scuderia Motom section.

In July 2026, Scuderia Motom, the official racing team of Motom Club, will compete in the Milan–Taranto race with a group of riders and motorcycles that will likely mark the brand’s largest-ever presence in the 75cc class.

According to the entry list, there are eleven participants in the class: six will be riding a Motom.

A fact that may seem simple, but which takes on special significance when viewed within the context of the race’s and the brand’s history. The Milan–Taranto is one of Italy’s most fascinating and demanding motorcycle events dedicated to historic bikes: hundreds of kilometers, daily stages, transfers, time checks, and above all, the ability to see vehicles designed over seventy years ago through to the finish line.

For Motom, this is not just about competing in a race. It is also a symbolic return to the roads that built the brand’s reputation in the postwar era: lightness, smoothness, reliability, and small engines capable of covering long distances.

Scuderia Motom was founded with the aim of bringing Motom motorcycles back to historic events, endurance races, and long-distance road trips, seeking to recreate not only the motorcycles themselves but also their cultural and sporting context.

During the 2026 Milan–Taranto race, we will be posting updates, photos, and other content directly on the Motom Club website.

What is it?

Scuderia Motom was founded to establish an organized presence for the brand at major events. It is not just a logo or a name, but a project designed to bring together riders and vehicles under a single identity, with a shared approach and, where appropriate, dedicated technical support.

The goal is to gradually establish a recognizable presence at major events, building a team capable of representing the Motom brand with passion, consistency, and attention to detail.

How to Become a Scuderia Driver

You become a member of the Scuderia Motom by signing up for an event organized by the Motom Club. In these cases, new members join through a dedicated membership program and are eligible for the support provided, including on-site technical support where available.

Being part of the Scuderia therefore means not only participating in an event, but doing so as part of a shared project, with a recognizable identity and a coordinated presence.

Motom Club may consider individual participation or alternative arrangements depending on the event and the overall project.

Hall of Fame and Event History

Riders who participate in events as part of Scuderia Motom are listed in the Motom Club Hall of Fame on the website, along with their name, the vehicle they used, the event they competed in, and their final placement, if applicable.

The Scuderia riders’ participation is also featured on the website and shared through Motom Club’s social media channels, leaving a record of their journey, highlighting each appearance, and building a shared history over time.

The Spirit of the Team

Scuderia Motom aims to grow in this way: event by event, through an approach that combines identity, support, and genuine participation. The goal is to be present at the right events in the best possible way, building a recognizable presence and a story to tell over time.
