The Motom Club Zurich will participate in the 2026 1000 Miglia in Moto as the official team of Scuderia Motom Club.
From May 31 to June 6, six little Motom 48s will be on the starting grid of one of the most fascinating events dedicated to historic motorcycles.
This event is particularly significant because the registered Motom bikes will be the only 48cc machines at the event.

Swiss Super Sport Motorcycles
Several Super Sport motorcycles manufactured for the Swiss market will be used in the 2026 1000 Miglia motorcycle race.
These are special versions of the small Italian sport motorcycles, featuring technical details and specific differences that we will explore in greater depth in future articles.
An interesting example of how the Motom brand has evolved differently across European markets.
Six 48cc Motom motorcycles at the 1000 Miglia in Moto
The fact that six Motoms are participating in the same event is a small sensation in itself.
Even more remarkable is the fact that these are exclusively 48cc motorcycles—lightweight, basic machines tasked with covering hundreds of kilometers alongside bikes with much larger engines.
And that is precisely what makes this initiative so appealing: bringing motorcycles built over sixty years ago back onto the road and using them today in the very context for which they were designed.
